Pauline has been instrumental in reviewing out of county placements for young people to ensure service provision is meeting their needs and care plans are robust. This has resulted in the monitoring of value for money regarding external placements, offering challenge to providers and supporting social work managers to implement rehabilitation activity for some of our most vulnerable children and young people. In addition, Pauline has carried out quality assurance activity to support operational decision making and improve social work practice in relation to looked after children.
